Meet the Executive Committee:

Larry Davis - Larry Davis brings a wealth of leadership experience to the Intermedia Writers Association. Starting with seemingly insurmountable circumstances, Larry has been blessed to be mentored and trained by top national and international executives and entrepreneurs.
As a veteran entrepreneur himself, Mr. Davis has held positions in startups from Director of Sales to Chief Executive Officer. Larry is regularly called on to consult or direct sales and marketing efforts for clients ranging from technology and political campaigns, to publishing and conference/seminar lectures.
Mr. Davis is a Phoenix Arizona native and hobbies include serving in his local church, working out, and volunteering his time serving his favorite charities. Mr. Davis is continuing his education at Arizona State University.

Eddie Smith - Eddie is a contributor to this site, and is an internationally known conference speaker, contributor to many Christian magazines, and the author of many books. He is a ghostwriter, a corporate copywriter, and writing coach.
A best selling author, Eddie began writing and publishing in college. He published written books as well as songs he had written. In the '70s he was editor of The Pulpit Journal, a national magazine for pastors. In the '90s he began focusing on writing and publishing books. He teaches writing seminars for Intermedia Publishing Group in cities across the U.S. each year.
He and his wife Alice, also a popular speaker and author of many books, make their home in Houston, Texas.

Tim Newland – Tim served our nation as a U.S. Marine Corps officer (1994-2004) leading Marines in combat during our nation’s current conflict in Iraq. Newland also brings planning and management experience from the corporate and private sectors. He led a manufacturing team for Honeywell’s Aerospace Cabin Management Systems. Newland’s experience has given him a high level of judgment in leadership, business and planning issues.
His most visible accomplishment includes being awarded the Bronze Star with Combat Valor while leading Marines during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He currently works for the Federal Government in the Information Technology field. Tim enjoys learning and motivating others. His hobbies include spending time with his family and reading books. Newland holds a BS from the University of Kansas. He resides in Parrish, Florida with his wife and son.

Terry Whalin – W. Terry Whalin understands both sides of the editorial desk--as an editor and a writer. He worked as a magazine editor and his magazine work has appeared in more than 50 publications. A former book acquisitions editor for several publishers and a former literary agent, Terry is a Vice President and Publisher at Intermedia Publishing Group.
